Snowmachine Instructors

WANTED: Snowmachine Instructors, Mentors, and Education Advocates who can RIDE

If you have time to share the message of LIVE TO RIDE ANOTHER DAY - we want you on our team.

Over the years, Alaska has seen many snowmachine accidents that may have been prevented. Alaska Avalanche Information Center (AAIC) volunteers and instructors believe education is the first step toward preventing unnecessary injury and loss of life. We are working to provide educational opportunities and information to those who live, work, and play in avalanche terrain. Daily life in Alaska often involves snowmachines to reach these aims - AAIC is a strong proponent of snowmachine specific education. Sharing information riders can relate to, understand, and apply to their travel habits.

If this resonates with you and is in-line with your experience, we want to hear from you. We are partnering with clubs, local organizations, agencies, and businesses to integrate snowmachine safety into the culture and lingo of this nation's fastest growing winter sport. Be a part of making a difference - set aside some time and energy to take an instructor class, participate in an awareness event, or administratively support this initiative.

You will help Alaskans LIVE TO RIDE ANOTHER DAY!

Phone AAIC Education Coordinator, Sarah Carter to learn more. 907.255.2242
