Mike has his Master's of Education and is the nation's first Avalanche Research and Education snowmachine specific instructor. He is a Valdez legend, renown to be tougher, stronger and wider ranging than a wolverine. His unparalleled snowmachine expertise traversing Chugach glaciers and mountains from the Wrangels to Denali is immensely valuable as a Valdez Snowmachine Club search and rescue team leader, program coordinator and lead instructor. Mike is an expert river runner and owner of Keystone Whitewater Adventures.
