Evan Woods currently lives and plays outside of the small Bavarian town of Leavenworth, Washington in the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains with his wife Terri and 2 teenage sons, Ryan and Alex. Having landed at Stevens Pass Ski Area when he was just a lad of 19 he became instantly attached to a life of working in the Mountains. Evan has been involved with the Stevens Pass Ski Patrol for the last 25 years and also worked 5 seasons with Stevens Pass DOT Avalanche program and spent 3 seasons as a Avalanche Forecaster/Heli Ski Guide with Valdez Heli Camps. His passion for the meteorology side of avalanche forecasting and continued intrigue with the challenge of initial patient care/ first aid in a mountain environment has kept him involved with Ski Patrolling. Evan has recently embarked upon a career as a Fire Lieutenant/ EMT with Chelan Fire and Rescue in Lake Chelan, Washington
